Dear Clients, Associates and Vendors,

Many of us are lucky enough to not have the health of ourselves or our loved ones directly affected by this pandemic, yet coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has still caused massive disruption to the daily routines and business that we take for granted.

As the situation continues to evolve, we want to assure our customers that JC Backings will remain available for all your rental and custom backing needs along with any support and service that we can provide.

While we are focused first and foremost on staying healthy and safe, we also remain committed to maintaining business operations. To that end, we have put in place new policies and procedures that will allow us to continue to run the business in a responsible manner while at the same time helping to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Some of the additional steps we are taking to support our industry during this period are:

• We are available for custom photography if it is within driving distance of our Smiley location. Out of an abundance of caution, we’ve decided to put a hold on air travel through March 31, at which point, we will re-evaluate based on CDC recommendations.
• All our backings can be put on hold or reserved at no charge. We recommend that you call us to check availability and condition. If a backing is not available, our helpful staff can suggest an alternative.
• We are actively working with our existing clients to adjust pick up and return dates as the fluidity of this situation changes.
• If you come to our Smiley location to check on a backing in progress, we’ll have minimum number of staff assigned to ensure everyone can keep the recommended 6-foot distance from others.
• If you have arranged transportation to pick up or drop off any of our backings, you are strongly encouraged to request that the transportation company only send drivers who feel well and that they take steps to disinfect the truck.
